This drawing consists of using a standard pencil. The main focus while drawing this was composition, the height of the bases, spacing, and proportions. I chose to place my paper vertically because my cups were tall and I centered my cups in the middle so my spacing was correct. My overall opinion on the piece is I could've done a little bit better on the spacing and the proportions.

3 Cups Drawing

Line Drawing

The purpose of this drawing was to draw the still life set up on a table within 1 hour. We had to focus on the thick and thin lines of the picture and which way the light was pointing at. Also, we focused on looking up at our items set up more than looking on our paper the whole time. I feel like I did better than I thought I would on this. One thing I could work on is what parts of the picture are darker and what parts are lighter based on which way the light was pointting at.

Still life Drawing

While working on this piece, I was trying to focus on the 6 characteristics of light the most. I tried to focus a lot on where the light source was coming from and the shadows of the drawing. I feel like I couldve done better on adding in some more darks into the picture because I have a lot of light lines.

1-Point Perspective Drawing

While working on this drawing, our focus was on the vanishing point and making sure that all the lines lined up at that point. Also, the light source and the value scale played a big part in this drawing. I focused the most on where the light source was coming from because I wanted it to be clear that the light source was coming from the left side if the paper. I think I could've done better on the water surrounding the bridge.

Self Portrait Drawing

This drawing was mainly for focusing on the face and the bone structure of the face. For Instance, the shading of the nose down to the lips. The darker spots are the creases in the face and the lighter sports are the spots that stick out more. I focused a lot on my hair getting all the locks of curls in and making sure there are no spaces. Also, I focused a lot on the nose and the shape of my nose.

2 Point Perspective

Drawing

This drawing I focused mostly on the vanishing points and making sure everything was in line with the vanishing points. Something I struggled on was the windows and getting them to look correct with the vanishing point. Another thing I focused on was the light source. The darks and the lights in the drawing were important. For instance, the sides of the buildings are darker than the front of the buildings.

Charkle Drawing

This drawing, I was focusing a lot on the eyes and the nose. For example,  the reflected light in the eyes and the darker parts of the eyelashes and eyelids I had to make sure were the same darkness. I struggled a little on the nose and the shadow on the left side. The shape of the nose was harder to draw for me. Lastly, I like how I did the shape of the face and her cheekbones.
